What began as the Animal Health Products Division of Vitarich, serving the needs of Vitarich’s internal contract growers and feeds production, became, in 1995, Gromax Incorporated — a wholly-owned subsidiary of
Vitarich Corporation. As a division of Vitarich, Gromax was initially set up to reduce the costs of medication of the mother company’s broiler and breeder flocks, but a strong external demand led to the division’s growth.
