Performs systematic disease surveillance and detection by conducting routine farm visits and biosecurity audits to the CG farms.
Key Responsibilities
Assists in the epidemiological evaluation of disease outbreak, disease movement, and seasonality of disease to establish preventive measures
Assists in the proper and accurate disease diagnosis in farms with suspected disease outbreak by conducting appropriate diagnostic methods.
Collects and submits laboratory samples in a timely manner as 1) dictated by serological and microbiological monitoring program or 2) any other related sampling programs or 3)as necessary like in cases of disease outbreaks.
Aids in establishing baseline titers of CG farms by collecting samples for serological examination and systematic compilation of the results
Ensures compliance of CG and CTB farms to appropriate medication and vaccination program in adherence to existing government regulations; including proper dosing and administration of medicine
Ensures compliance to proper implementation of biosecurity by conducting random farm audits.
Qualification
Graduate of D Veterinary Medicine.
PRC licensed-vet.
Background in Poultry Management and/or Veterinary Diagnostic procedures.
With Driver’s license and can drive both Manual and Automatic vehicles.
Capable of communicating to all levels in the organization and able to express ideas clearly.
Capable of utilizing various tools in problem solving.
Understands and aware of Environment, Health and Safety rules and regulations of each organization.
