Job Summary

The Field Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing marketing strategies and campaigns directly in the field to promote the company’s food products and brand. This role focuses on market research, consumer engagement, building relationships with distributors, retailers, and consumers, and driving local sales growth. The Field Marketing Specialist works closely with the marketing and sales teams to adapt national strategies to regional markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Local Market Strategy Execution:
    • Implement and execute marketing campaigns tailored to local markets, based on company goals and national marketing strategies.
    • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to inform local marketing tactics and decisions.
    • Collaborate with regional sales teams to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with sales targets.
  • Brand Awareness & Promotion:
    • Organize and manage local product promotions, in-store displays, sampling events, and trade shows to increase brand visibility.
    • Work closely with retail partners, distributors, and foodservice customers to implement promotional strategies and drive product sales.
    • Ensure consistent brand messaging and product information is communicated effectively in all promotional materials and events.
  • Consumer Engagement & Relationship Building:
    • Develop relationships with key influencers, customers, and retailers to promote products and drive brand loyalty.
    • Execute consumer engagement programs, including sampling campaigns, tastings, and local events.
    • Gather customer feedback and insights to refine marketing strategies and improve customer experience.
  • Market Research & Analysis:
    • Conduct in-market research and consumer focus groups to understand market needs and product feedback.
    • Track local sales data and competitor activities to adjust strategies and improve sales performance.
    • Provide regular reports and insights on the effectiveness of field marketing campaigns and promotions.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Work closely with the marketing team to align regional campaigns with broader marketing strategies and brand initiatives.
    • Coordinate with the sales team to ensure smooth execution of promotions and track results.
    • Assist in the creation of localized marketing materials and collateral for sales and promotional activities.
  • Event Planning & Coordination:
    • Organize and execute local food trade shows, festivals, and product expos to enhance the brand’s presence and engage with potential customers.
    • Plan and coordinate local tastings, pop-up events, and retail promotions to maximize product awareness.

Qualification

  • Graduate of a 4 year course from a reputable college or university, preference for marketing, or management course.
  • Preferably with work experience in Trade Marketing and/or Marketing support.
  • Gathering, analyzing, and reporting market insights, consumer and customer behavior data.
  • Conceptualization, creation, implementation and evaluation of on-ground promotional activities.
  • Skilled in planning, organizating, coordinating and administrative support.
  • Proficient computer skills particularly in MS Powerpoint, MS Excel, MS Outlook and MS Teams.
  • Team player, excellent communication and presentation skills, analytical, works with minimal supervision, goal oriented attitude and must show willingess to learn.
  • Possess a valid non-professional or professional driver's license.
