2021 Vitarich CSR Activities

In 2021, Vitarich engaged in various Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives across different regions, demonstrating its commitment to community support, environmental protection, and employee welfare. These activities included disaster relief, health support, environmental cleanups, and donations to various organizations and individuals.

Here are the key activities:

‍

Luzon

• Provided 7 boxes of clothes, blankets, and towels and sponsored breakfast for 670 individuals from 178 families affected by the January 13, 2021 fire in Marilao, Bulacan.
• Participated in the Marilao Estero Clean up with Barbatos Ventures Corp on March 12, 2021, promoting an "earth warrior" spirit.

Visayas

• Donated 3k worth of dressed chicken and Weenly for a Blood Donation Activity, receiving a Certificate from IPPO on Feb. 26, 2021.
• Implemented VC Bayanihan 'Care for Others', providing food/grocery assistance to co-employees who tested COVID-19 Positive from cash collected nationwide.
• Donated 10k as bereavement aid to Canja’s family after a vehicular accident on July 10, 2021.
• Distributed grocery packs to all manpower agency personnel using cash prize winnings from the 71st VC Anniversary contest.
• Provided grocery assistance to Ma. Haydee Combis after her mother passed away due to COVID-19 and diabetes on August 12, 2021.
• Donated cash worth 5,000.00 to the Mayor of Pavia’s ‘Pavia Kape’t Pandesal’ project, which provided hot coffee/choco, pandesal, and arroz caldo to church-goers.
• Launched VITARICH CARES Fund Drive for Visayas - ‘Oplan Typhoon Odette’, distributing goods donations through the Feed sales team to Cebu and Negros, with cash from collected employee contributions nationwide.
• Provided extra cash for house repairs due to the typhoon to individuals like Mr. Dala and Mr. Burlasa from Feedmill Iloilo.
• Donated 2,000.00 worth of dressed chicken to the National Handicraft Blind Association.
• Conducted yearly gift-giving before the year ends, distributing dressed chicken, calendars, and mugs to government agencies and Pavia LGU, including Pavia Police Station, Bureau of Fire, Mayor’s Office, Philhealth Office, RO6 - SSS, Iloilo Provincial Police Office, and Sta. Monica Church Pavia.

Mindanao

• Provided Grocery Assistance to employees and their families infected with COVID-19, funded by both employee cash donations and Vitarich assistance.
• Provided Grocery Assistance to GenSan employees quarantined/isolated due to a co-employee confirmed positive with COVID-19.
• Donated Php5,000 worth of dressed chicken to San Miguel Parish, Panacan, for their 500 years of Christianity celebration and food bank initiative.
• Donated Php5,000 worth of dressed chicken to Panacan Volunteer Responders Search and Rescue (PAVOR-SAR) for their medical mission and feeding program.
• Donated Php5,000 worth of dressed chicken to San Miguel Parish, Panacan, for their parish-based vaccination program.
